I think that I shall never gripe
At code that uses just the pipe.
A stream of text, so pure, so clean,
Transformed by grep – it's like caffeine.
Awk marches in, sed takes a swipe,
Together building UNIX hype.
No structs, no loops, no curly braces,
Just tiny tools that know their places.
cat, cut, and sort – what harmony!
xargs joins in with symphony.
A pipe connects them all with grace,
No temp files left, no state to trace.
While GUIs crash and bloatware moans,
I grep the truth from logs and tones.
A bash one-liner wins the fight,
For those who wield the CLI right.
